#4 in the series Messing with the Masters "Bia"

Angelo Bronzino 1503 - 1572 was a Florentine painter who was commissioned to paint a portrait of Cosimo de Medicini daughter Bia after the 6 year old died of a fever in 1542.  It is believed Bronzino made a death mask of the girl with fabric and gesso in order to complete this task.
