Go light on the land
Go light on the land and keep it green. Look after the birds, fish and wildlife.
Harm nothing and do not litter. Plant seeds and watch them grow and
flourish. Help a tree or shrub if it needs help. Kill no insects as they are rightfully here. Plant flowers to make your soul happy. Do not pollute or litter.
The triplets loved to travel. But not at the same time or to the same places.

Smoke brushes
So much fun playing with smoke brushes
The white smoky pic is when i was too excited to even think it could be done in a colour. The top pic was after i knew it could be done in colour but i then got carried away with just the shapes and sizes and didn't experiment much.

Four easy pieces
I was thrilled when i found this pic of the gears; for some reason i loved it so much. i've saved it for awhile but never had any ideas of what to do with it.
Today i pulled it out and tried to get creative.....unfortunately my creative gene had flown and i just sorta spaced out and stared and drifted away listening to my awesome new playlist.
Finally tried another background with it and that helped but then it needed something more and i was stuck once again.
Tried a few images with it but nothing really great developed. Doncha just hate it when that happens?
But then wham bam all of a sudden a light bulb moment when i clued into 2 Photoshop tricks unexpectedly; duplicate image......sheesh, here i've been erasing them individually! And then within seconds i found out why the keyboard comands are so handy to learn (well, one comand at a time) even though its only apparent in the one piece i've added tonight (two fishes)
I've never been one to read instructions and easily get it. I just do things on my own in my own way and learn the harder way. Now i feel like superwoman!
So, all my digital art for the next little while might have twins or triplets or heaven forbid octuplets!

Lost, strayed or stolen
The birds got her seeds again! Most gardeners learn to allow a certain percentage for the birds and they'll pay back by eating all the bad bugs, well some of the good ones too but then thats nature. I like to create art that tells a story.
Can't really say i'm exactly zipping along with PS (time restraints) but maybe i'm feeling a little improvement.
Enough to decide almost for sure not to take either of the online classes. I'm afraid they may be a little too structured for me now that i've already got my feet wet.
So, i bought a book; i think this is the one i should have bought to begin with; it's Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 Classroom In A Book and it has a CD-ROM which i havent had time to even open yet. The other ones i bought have some really cool stuff in 'em but way too advanced for a beginner.
So, in creating this piece i still had the same problems especially in resizing the individual components. I will learn that one day all of a sudden.
I guess i need to edit more as well because this is sort of busy. After i saved it realised i forgot to add the musical notes, now that really would have been too busy.....well, maybe just a tiny little band of musical notes going across.......

Boys, a baseball and a window
I made 2 and couldn't decide which one to keep and which one to delete. So heres both.
Hubby kind of liked the one on the left best, but i didn't because i can see where i messed up. Also its sort of plain, but not creative enough tonight to think of what to add, except maybe they could have had hats. Dunce hats! But i don't know where to find them and have them size out properly.
I kinda like the one with granny. The look on her face is priceless. I think she's looked after these kids before and knew she should never have given them that ball.
The pics were both really easy to make; no erasing was needed. So this is the reason of why to use png files! I didn't even know that was invented yet and thought that all images were hand erased with the eraser.Cool! I'm learning something new everyday.

Making headway; heres my french rat lady
I've been working on it and have learned alot. Heres a piece to show my progress.
I named her the french rat lady. Its an old collage piece with PS added rat and flowers.
Maybe the rat dosn't look real comfortable there on her shoulder but later on i'll learn to adjust things better.
Still having a problem with resizing. The Brouillon label kept jumping up into her hair and i still havent figured out why it kept doing that. So much to learn and so little time.
Heres another abstract and i think its from the same original as my first piece below this one. Now i know i'll have to keep track of what i do and with what.
